Students are Change Agents at Witt with WIN

The WIN Foundation provides student members with the chance to be a change agent at Wittenberg - shaping the institution for years to come.

Witt's students are concerned about what is happening at Wittenberg: academic majors and sports teams being discontinued, enrollment dropping, people transferring, professors leaving. This sort of uncertainty can make it difficult to anchor your college career, and it creates another layer of anxiety on top of college -- which has enough anxiety already.

Students come to Wittenberg with a set of passions. They want to continue things they've loved in High School (sports, extracurriculars, favorite subjects), but they also come to learn and experience the things that will provide them with the base for successful "adulting."

When chaos is all around you, you can either "give in to the crazy" or be a change agent. The WIN Foundation provides a place for Wittenberg's student change agents to be part of a group that is looking to understand the problems faced by Higher Education, and Wittenberg in particular... and develop innovative solutions to those problems.

In the WIN Foundation you can join committees that are looking to develop solutions to support admissions, advancement, academic programs, athletics, co-curriculars, and more. You'll be working with Wittenberg alumni who represent experts in these fields, but also people that feel a passion for these topics and want to do what they can to help.

The WIN Foundation is run by us - the members. It is an alumni-owned, charitable corporation that has a "seat at the table" with Wittenberg's Board of Directors and the Administration... however, it is independent. That means that while we are working to address the University's identified priorities, we are also free to work on things that our membership feels passionate about. This combination of priorities helps to build a better institution and college community.

Most importantly, the WIN Foundation needs you - our current students. You are the people who have the most to lose, and you understand what current students are looking for in a college experience. Join today - https://www.wittinnovationnetwork.org/join-page
